Andrew C. Clarke Attorney
Mr. Clarke graduated with a B.A. in History from Davidson College and immediately after college, obtained a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. He went on to receive his J.D. from Memphis State University in 1992. During law school, Mr. Clarke worked for Plaintiff firms that handled civil rights and police misconduct cases which were a perfect fit for his background.
Mr. Clarke is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi . Since graduating from law school, he has only worked for Plaintiff firms representing victims of negligence or intentional misconduct of others. Mr. Clarke has successfully represented clients by way of settlement or trial in wrongful death cases, automobile accidents, premises liability actions, worker's compensation injuries, civil rights claims, police misconduct cases, employment discrimination claims, high-speed pursuit cases and medical malpractice cases.
Mr. Clarke has handled many cases throughout the appellate process including being involved in two cases which were argued before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Clarke has been a frequent speaker at seminars on a wide variety of topic including high-speed pursuits, excessive force cases, worker's compensation cases, municipality liability cases and governmental tort liability cases. He has also written numerous articles on issues relating to police misconduct cases and civil rights liability.
In addition to being a dedicated attorney, Andrew is a dedicated husband and father to two sons and two step-children. He was raised in Miami, Florida and is an avid fisherman. He and his family enjoy traveling on fishing trips and to the beach.
